Expected a lot more
I have watched countless numbers of his videos and have seen Sunn O))) before. I think he's typically a very funny man, especially his physical comedy. However, this time, my entire group came away with exactly the same feeling. He didn't do as much physical comedy as he typically does and his stories just weren't that funny without it. Maybe it was too much in one day, I really don't know. He looked quite tired also, maybe he traveled in that day and we saw his second show, which didn't start until nearly 11pm.
The show started nearly one hour late. In addition to looking tired, that wouldn't have been so bad if the Borgata would have handled their entry to the venue better or didn't buy the cheapest most uncomfortable narrow chairs they could find.
Seriously, no one in our group is a large person and we couldn't all sit back in our seats at the same time, because our shoulders wouldn't fit! So, between the seats killing our backs and the seat backs killing our butts, we had to keep rotating who sat back and who leaned forward.
Paying nearly $300 per ticket is one thing, but to sit in an uncomfortable chair that long, have a show start late, and then for Sunn O))) not to be that funny was all quite disappointing.
Hopefully everyone else's show goes better than ours, they switch the seats, and he brings some other material for the rest.
